Ad Verum

Samir Damji, a lifer at Collingwood, is an accomplished scholar who strives for excellence in everything he does. Currently in Grade 12, he is an avid public speaker and holds the school record for winning 10 consecutive gold medals at Collingwood’s Annual Public Speaking Competition. He is also the founder and current president of CCMP – Collingwood’s Career Mentorship Program – a development initiative that helps match students with career mentors of their choice. Outside of academics, Samir’s first love is for basketball, a sport where he has twice won MVP playing on Collingwood’s teams. This year he is an Admissions Ambassador for the school and especially enjoys showcasing our new campus to prospective students and their parents. With writing as a strong passion, he hopes to share his thoughts and views with his peers and deliver a new perspective to the Ad Verum.
